It<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> was an even longer transfer with the same driver <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">as I had before<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">and <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">he <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">even <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">had to drive back to San Jose the same day, <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">a total of <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">12 hours driving<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">!<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">I was glad I would myself be<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> flying back<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> to San Jose<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> Starting again on the high ridge road we soon descended to San Isidro and then left the trans-American highway to reach the Pacific Coast at Dominical. Many attractive flowering trees could be seen on route. Along the coastal road there were some signs of seaside holiday facilities but most of it was still undeveloped. Occasional glimpses of the Pacific Ocean could be seen between the trees. Eventually we crossed the landward end of the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Osa<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> Peninsula and reached the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Golfo<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> Dulce on the Southern side, finally arriving at our destination of Puerto Jimenez. However my journey was not yet over since <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">I changed to a jeep for another hours drive <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">to <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">the <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">El <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Remanso<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">lodge<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">This was though already a safari tour as<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> we saw wildlife on the way including <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">the fabulous Scarlet Macaws, a large <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Tropical Screech-Owl<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\"> and a Three-toed Sloth.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Normal-P\" style=\"margin-bottom: 6pt; text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph; direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: normal;\"><span class=\"Normal-H\"><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">I accompanied an English couple during the jeep drive and we shared our experiences of the various Costa Rican nature parks.
